Bridges Social Entrepreneurs Fund (SEF) is a £12 million impact-first fund that invests in high-impact and financially sustainable social enterprises looking to scale. Assessing a wide range of investment opportunities across sectors, Ben carried out due diligence on the financial sustainability and social impact of different opportunities, leading to the presentation of deals to Bridges’ investment committees.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, Ben worked on elements of Farm Africa’s strategy. This primarily involved assessing the ways in which it has and might in the future engage with the private sector, ranging from developing a social enterprise, partnering with corporates in the field or connecting farmers to markets within its core donor-funded programmes.
