Developing leaders for social enterprise
At On Purpose, we believe that to solve many of society’s biggest challenges we need to change the way that we do business. We help talented professionals develop the experience, knowledge and networks they need to lead this change, and put their skills to use in organisations that harness commercial thinking towards creating social and environmental benefit.
The On Purpose Associate Programme
Being an On Purpose Associate means taking part in a year-long programme where you:
- Are paid to work in challenging placements at a diverse mix of organisations
- Receive weekly training from professionals at leading organisations from across the commercial and social sectors
- Work with mentors and executive coaches to enhance personal and professional development
- Become part of a cross-sector network of professionals working in social enterprise
Following the programme ~90% of Fellows (alumni) remain working within the social enterprise space and continue to benefit from On Purpose through dedicated training, social events and peer-to-peer support. You can read more about the day to day work our Associates do in the Yearbook of our April 2013 Associates.
